Pradeep B Nagaraju received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York (SUNY) in 2010, working as a research assistant in the Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Tommaso Melodia. His research focused on testbed implementation of cross-layer optimization for cognitive radio networks on USRP2 software defined radio, design and experimentation of PHY, MAC, routing, and transport protocols for wireless distributed networks, and ionospheric propagation analysis based on Flex radio 5000A software defined radio. Prior to his graduate studies, Pradeep received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bangalore, India in 2007. During his senior year, he served as Founder and President of a robotics club, ROBO-MSR. From 2007 to 2008, he worked as a software engineer for Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd., where he was the recipient of the “Best Employee in Excellence” award.
