Jianmin Yang was a Ph.D. student of the College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering at Harbin Engineering University, China. He received his B.S. degree from the College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering at Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China in 2010. He was a Scholar Visitor at the Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems Laboratory at Northeastern University, where he conducted research on network protocol design for Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks under the guidance of Prof. Tommaso Melodia.
