Research Interests
Deniz Unal received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University in 2014 and 2018 respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University in 2025. He conducted research at the Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems Laboratory on software-defined underwater acoustic communications under supervision of Tommaso Melodia. His research interests include underwater acoustic communications and software-defined underwater networks.
