Research Interests
Bharatwaj Gowri Shankar earned his M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India in 2010. After graduation, he worked as a Programmer Analyst Trainee at Cognizant Technology Solutions. He conducted research at the Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems Laboratory, where he worked on creating a software-defined modem. His research interests included embedded systems, robotics, and underwater wireless networks. His work on SEANet received the Best Student Paper Award at ACM WUWNet 2015.
