Research Interests

Amruta Sardeshpande was a Master’s student in the Department of Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She worked in the Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Tommaso Melodia. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering from SGGS Institute of Engineering and Technology, India, where she was the University topper and received the Best Student Award. Prior to her graduate studies, she worked as a System Engineer with Emerson Process Management, India for approximately 2.5 years. Her research interests included wireless multimedia sensor networks, high frequency radio communications, cognitive radio networks on USRP2 software defined radio, and ionospheric propagation analysis.
