Research Interests

M. Amac Guvensan received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. He pursued his Ph.D. on Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks in the Department of Computer Engineering under Assistant Professor A. Gokhan Yavuz at Yildiz Technical University. He was a research assistant at the Department of Computer Engineering at Yildiz Technical University since 2003. He was a visiting Ph.D. student at the Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems Laboratory in the Department of Electrical Engineering at State University of New York at Buffalo under Prof. Tommaso Melodia. His research interests included wireless multimedia sensor networks, audio sensor networks for energy efficiency, and deployment strategies of directional sensor nodes.
